ISO 9001 QUALITY POLICY
According to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, 5.2.3:
“The quality policy shall be available as documented information, be communicated and be available to relevant interested parties.”
A quality policy is a statement that describes your organization’s strategy and direction and what it aims to achieve. It is commonly referred to as the organization’s mission statement, values or statement of principles. ISO 9001 requires an organization wishing to obtain the certification to establish a quality policy. This quality policy is enforced by top management in order to achieve the results they desire.
